Panda configuration chronograph from Breitling’s Top Time “Long Playing” line, 1973.
The term “Long Playing” referred to Breitling Top Time watches with a long mainspring, which allowed for a 52 hour power reserve. These watches appeal to collectors for their large, 38mm case size, compared to the traditional 35-36mm Top Time line.
This Breitling Long Playing chronograph is in great condition. The silver/white sunburst dial showed only light fade towards the top, between 11-12 o’clock, visible at an angle but it is amazing to see how well it is preserved. Even the original lume is still present, and has aged to a darker brown color which, in my opinion, gives some charm to the watch
