The A788 is a sporty El Primero that was produced between 1971 and 1972. Only 1,400 units were made and it is the only Zenith stainless steel case model with a plain snap-on back case-back.
With a blue & silver dial, part-luminous silver batons & hands, three overlapping registers (hours, minutes & seconds), an off-set date aperture and a blue tachymetre inner bezel, the A788 is one of the prettiest El Primero.
Powered by a 31 jewel automatic movement signed Zenith, calibre 3019 PHC. With an usual tonneau shaped case, signed Movado Zenith with emblem, numbered, original crown & pushers, case width measures approx. 37mm and an original stainless steel Zenith bracelet
