Valjoux 7733
Great looking sporty chronograph from BWC
The Buttes Watch Company (BWC) is a small but important watch manufacturer. The company was found in 1924 by Mr. Arthur Charlet, in his birthplace, Buttes (Canton Neuchâtel) and over the years the brand made some really good looking chronographs. Charlet’s son-in-law, Mr. Edwin Volkart, took over the company in 1953 and continued to operate it with great attention until 1991. This period in BWC history is its most interesting, at least in regard to vintage chronographs. BWC made some good-quality watches in great stainless steel cases with movements from Lemania, Landeron (48,148,248) and Valjoux (7733, 7734).
This model is powered by a reliable Valjoux 7733 and is in NOS conditions. 38mm case, round pushers, amazing blue dial with white sub dials, this watch has all the boxes ticked.
