Omega Speedmaster 60th anniversary

In 1957, Omega launched its first ever Speedmaster, the CK2915-1 or Speedmaster 57.

The Speedmaster is the watch that started it all: the most famous chronograph of all time was also the first watch on the moon.

With the Speedmaster 60th anniversary, it is the first time that so much attention has been spent on replicatling exactly the proportion and design of a vintage model. This commemorative edition aims for the perfect matching look, every smallest details has been researched and reproduced to make sure that this Speedmaster 60th anniversay is period-correct (for example the tachymeter bezel is etched in the very same way as the original, up to the accent on the French word tachymètre, the broad arrows hand are there as well as the original Omega logo). Omega went as far as to introduce some faux tropicalization to make the watch looks older

The only difference between this Speedy 60th anniversary and a Speedy 57 is the movement: Omega didnt go as far as to replicate the calibre 321 but instead introduce a modern calibre 1861

The result is a superb watch that combines vintage look and modern mechanics
